and how does one choose? The West Side Youth Apprenticeship
Project offers hands-on learning for West Side teens
to explore these and other important questions.

work of creating a culture of learning on the West
Side is centered around 4 basic principles (leadership
development, informal learning opportunities, community
capacity and language learnong). The conferences
will be an opportunity for West Siders to learn
how to apply these principles to help achieve our
